This morning Papa Jack came in to teach us Maori. We love it when he comes to see us! We played Ka ki a Haimona (Simon Says) and talked about the greetings tena koe (hello to 1 person) tena korua (hello to 2 people) and tena kotou (hello to 3 or more people).
Papa Jack also taught us how to introduce ourselves in Maori! This afternoon in Piako 2 we practiced this, and are getting pretty good! We bet he will be impressed when he comes to visit us again next Monday ;-)
